Title: Chief Executive Officer
Job summary: We are seeking an experienced CEO to manage day-to-day operations of our company. The right candidate must be ready to build and model a great company culture, provide inspired leadership to our executive team, establish a great working relationship with the board of directors and set a course for company strategy.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide inspired leadership company wide 2. Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy 3. Report to the board of directors and keep them informed 4. Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan 5. Act as the primary spokesperson for the company 6. Develop the company’s culture and overall company vision 7. Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary 8. Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale 9. Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing 10. Work with senior stakeholders, chief financial officer, chief information officer, and other executives 11. Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations 12. Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long term goals 13. Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company 14. Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations 15. Oversee day-to-day operation of the company 16. Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring
Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or master degree in a relevant discipline or MBA 2. Experience in a senior management position 3. Knowledge of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting 4. Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce 5. Understanding of human resources and personnel management 6. Experience with corporate governance 7. Proven negotiation skills 8. Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions 9. Ability to inspire confidence and create trust 10. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
Expected salary: US$300,000 or Rs 52,000,000 LKR

Cyberspace Command is a growing cyber security and defence company, and we need a chief operating officer (COO) to be the right hand of our thriving CEO. With your experience and talents, you’ll be able to lead our team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive and effective. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the industry, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to your role as an executive. We believe this trajectory helps develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of the cyber security and defence industry. Objectives of this Role
Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs
Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met
Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention
Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term
Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability
Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions
Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in business or related field
Fundraising experience
International business experience
Cyber security and defence insights
